Welcome back to Life of LAB "The Deep" and The Road2Wholeness Blog.  It's day 2.  Where's back at the site of creation.  We're not digging, but seeking.

I'm not sure what you heard, but the story I got says that all hell broke loose with the bite of a forbidden fruit; or was it the forbidden bite of a fruit.  Either way, we return to Genesis 1:3-5, and to the words "And there was evening and there was morning-the first day."

Yesterday, as I was reading this line for the umpteen time, I heard something different.  Let's back up.  Now the earth was formless and void, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the spirit of God was hovering over the waters.  Timeout.  Can you sense that this is where all hell breaks loose?  This story is not just a creation story; it's a birthing.  "Let there be light."  And God saw that the light was good.  And He separated the light from the darkness. And there was Eve-ning and Mourning- the first day.

Let's look at the definition of Eve.  The word "eve" is derived from the Hebrew word meaning breathe or to live.  And there was living and mourning- the first day.

Did you know that anytime you separate light from darkness there is living and mourning?  In the first blog we talked about "The Deep" and it being a place where our hidden fears, authority, and strengths reside.  It's a place within man where we give birth, and within this space there is constant living and mourning.  Between the two there is a chasm filled with dirt.  There between two completely different viewpoints we are asked of ourselves and of God to form something.  To create from that dirt another Adam; something that we can breathe life into, and something that will recognize us as the very flesh of its flesh.

 What will it be?

It's the season to be merry.  November!  Standing on the verge of another launch; another birth.  Right about here is where we begin to look forward.  And right here is where we go to "The Deep"; the site of creation.

Join us tomorrow as we continue to pull wisdom and understanding from the Word of God that we will use on this very fertile suspended-eve of a new year.

Remember to go within that you may never go without.  The God within you awaits you.  Until our paths collide again, I wish you... Peace, Love, Life, and Complete Wholeness in Christ.
