Welcome to The Road2Wholeness Blog!

It's spring 2026, and we're in Road 2 Resurrection.  Thank you for continuing in this Blog series "Ear, Heart, Mind!"  Today we move forward with the Heart of God.  Let's look at scripture.

Psalm 94:17 reads, "Unless the Lord had given me help, I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death."  It is proper to acknowledge that the heart of God informs the help of God.  As Elohim, the Divine power and Lord of Armies, God insists that we will not dwell in the silence of death.

When we look at the world, we find that the opposite is true.  In the world, it is often said that no news is good news, but in the Life of God and as we breathe, live, and rest within the palms of His hands.. we know that we serve an expressive God, and that He will never leave us with the silence of death.  The Heart of God is continually answering.  He commits to being a strong tower in the life of the believer, and He continues to guide us through the valley of the shadow of death.

If we look at the scripture taken from John 4:14, we are assured that we will have living water; water to drink and water as a spring within us.  The heart of God is what makes this possible; the mere desire to satiate and satisfy the thirst of the Christian.  In this way, the Lord's heart speaks.

Again in 1Kings 19:18, the Lord says "Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel-- all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and whose mouths have not kissed him."  In this scripture, we see that God's help restores the faith of Elijah.  Although he is replaced by Elisha, the Lord does not leave him with a dwindling faith or conviction about God's ways and His great power.  In a single statement, God shows that He is the God that preserves; that He is the God that sustains faith; that He is the God that tells us the end in the beginning.

The Heart of God goes before us, to prepare a place for us at every turn.  Just as the Lord saw it fit that Adam had a helpmeet, likewise, the Lord see's it righteous that we might have His help.

As we look ahead to the symbolism of this Resurrection Sunday, let's restore our belief in a foreknowing God as the word clearly depicts.

Remember to go within that you may never go without.  The God within you awaits you.  Until our paths collide again, I wish you ... Peace, Love, Light, and the Goodness of God.

In Service,

Natisha R. Williams
