Welcome back to The Road2Wholeness Blog!  Thank you for stopping by.
Today we are continuing in the "5 Wealths" Blog series. Previously in this series, we gave full gratitude and paid appreciation for The Day That The Lord Has Made and Prayer.  Today, we move on to "The Passover Blood".

Question.  When you hear The Passover Blood what comes to mind?  Are you moved into praise and acknowledgement, or are you overcome by gratitude and lament?  Let's go back to the moment in the Old Testament scripture that tells us about the Lord's mercy and grace.

Exodus 12:12-13 reads, "On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn of both peoples and animal, and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt.  I am the Lord.  The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will passover you.  No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt."

This event foreshadows the ultimate characteristic of the Lord Jesus as the precious and Holy lamb of God.  When I consider all the wealths of the Gospel, I readily consider The Passover Blood.  What was the blood of a live sheep or goat in the Old Testament, becomes the precious blood of Christ.  Just think about being covered by His blood, and understanding that No Weapon Formed Against You Shall Prosper.  But I like the way the scripture records it.. "No destructive plague will touch you."

As we take a record of the 5 Wealths, let's stop for a moment and recognize the way God protected the offsprings of the Israelites.  Let's also look at the fact that the Lord did not even allow the calamity and destruction to enter the homes of his beloved people, but stop destruction at the very door.  In this way, let us adjust our thinking to the character of God.  Let us know what to pray for, and what our faith is allowed to reach for.  Let us not give any leeway to debacle or disaster in our homes, but rather let us take up our identity and favor in Christ that says no destructive plague will touch us.

Continue to follow the Blog for the remainder of this series.  We hope that it is a blessing in your daily meditation.  And remember to go within that you may never go without.  Our God within you, awaits you.  Until our lights collide again, I wish you ... Peace, Love, Light, and Immediate Favor in Christ.
