5 Wealths "A Series"- Blog 2

Thank you for visiting The Road2Wholeness Blog and taking the stroll with us today!   Today we continue in the blog series "5 Wealths", and the wealth that we are giving credence to is Prayer.

Let's look at Philippians 4:6-7.  It reads, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.  And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and mind in Christ Jesus." 

This scripture tells of the direct benefit of prayer. It first states that it eases anxiousness.  Whether you are feeling pulled and tugged into your yesterday or the pressures of an impending tomorrow; this word promises God's peace to transcend your current understanding.  It promises that God's peace will fall upon you, and move your troubled heart and mind out of your path.

We also learn through this word, that the heart and mind will be hidden within the Cleft in the Rock. "What a powerful set of revelations.  What a powerful and sustaining promise..  and What other element has man found that matches this wealth?"  How good is it that we don't have to wait to feel different, or to see things different, or have things become different, but rather.. we can obtain peace readily and rightly so. 

In Acts 4:31 we read of the transference of the Holy Spirit which also came by prayer.  Let's read.  "After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken.  And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly."

So today we stop to acknowledge this Wealth for all it has given to humanity and all that it gives to the people of God.

Remember to go within that you may never go without.  Our God within you, awaits you.  Until our lights collide again, I wish you... Peace, Love, Light, and Devotion.
