Thank you for stopping by! Welcome back to The Road2Wholeness Blog. Take a stroll with us as we begin The 5 Wealths Series. In this series, I will be pointing to 5 things that are closely related to the gospel, and why they are to be leaned on, remembered, and frequently considered.
Let's jump right in with the scripture for this first blog. In Psalms 118:24, it reads "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
As we reflect on Life's wealths, let us not forget The Day that The Lord Has Made. Second to the wealth that is our very breath, is The Day that The Lord Has Made. "When we wake up Father, we recognize you and we give thanks. We look at the bounty before us, and we embrace the light you have commanded to greet us and to be the ready palette for us to move about in Freedom, Devotion, and Aspiration."
"Father we lean on this wealth, and we feel the redemption that it bestows. We know that we have been selected for this moment; appointed for such a time as this that we may be with you as the Light in the world. We throw off any feelings of inferiority or misgiving. We separate ourselves from any call to loneliness, and we embrace the gift of life and the solid minutes we've been given to bond with all the other lives that you have called and preserved for this moment. For many have been called, but few were chosen."
"Lastly Father, we consider our names on the day's register. We consider what we will offer to our brother; the one that we might ignore.. the one that we are not obligated to see or stand with, and we heed your command. Today with The Day that The Lord Has Made we rejoice and take pleasure in not just breaking bread with our neighbors, but let us bake bread for our brothers and sisters."
