Welcome to Day 4 of Life of LAB.  As you know this is our yearly Quick LAB series, and this year our theme is "The Deep".  We continue in our exploration of the Book of Genesis and on our quest to learn from God Himself the art of manifestation.  "Manifest, Create, Call Forth.. then Walk it Out."

We begin today where we left off yesterday.  Today, we go to Genesis 2:8-9.  It reads, "Now, the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed.  The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground.. trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food.  In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil."

Did you know that your mind is a garden?  Let's read the above scripture again.  It says the Lord planted a garden.  He then put the man he had formed there to work it and take care of it.  There in that garden were many trees, but in the middle were two; the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.  Later in Genesis, it reads "And the Lord commanded the man, 'You are free to eat of any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.'"

One of the biggest most definite keys to manifestation is to be in constant awareness of which tree you are eating from.  If you remember from blog 1, I said to you that man was God's purpose and that the earth was the opportunity.  Here, God is speaking to His purpose.  If we go further into the story we read the serpent saying, "You will not certainly die.  For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing God and Evil."

Did you know that The Tree of Life gives eternal life, but the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil offers only death.  Here we see that the serpent is not entirely lying, but that God in all His knowing can look at something even as it is animated seemingly with life, and see that it is dying; whereas the serpent can only see what is apparent.  Therefore he says... you will not certainly die or you will not drop dead on the spot.

All of this is connected, as we understand that a stream is a continuous flow in a specified direction, and at times also form distributaries which flow outward.  In Genesis 2:10, it reads "A river watering the garden flowed from Eden, and there it was separated into four headwaters."  Stop for a moment and visually consider in a personal way what has been covered.  Can you picture your mind; a garden; filled with your vision and purpose being watered by a river which flows from Eden?

Did you know that Christ is the river that flows from Eden and that your purpose is nothing but a distributary; an outflow of that river?  Most importantly, can you manage these two most vital questions... From which tree will your purpose and vision eat?  Will you feed it a double minded diet of good and evil, or can you use the instruction God gave to the man He created to see that it lives and thrives.  The next vital question is..  Will you come to the river of living water?

This is the realization of that third part of The Power of Three.  Here is where we add more than our own strength and abilities to what we hope to manifest.  In our garden, which the Lord planted, we can bring forth God's glory.  And we can say of ourselves, our minds, and our vision all at once...

"I shall be like a tree planted by rivers of living water, who sends out it roots into the streams, that does not fear when the heat comes, whose leaves are always green... and never fails to bear fruit."

Thank you for visiting The Road2Wholeness Blog during Life of LAB.  We hope you will return for the duration of the Quick LAB series.

Remember to go within that you may never go without.  The God within you awaits you.  Until our paths collide again, I wish you... Peace, Love, Life, and Complete Wholeness in Christ.
