Bypass: Blog 2
Welcome to The Road2Wholeness Blog!
Thank you for taking the stroll with us today. We're in "Bypass", our newest series. Today we're onto Justice. If you haven't read the opening blog, Father Complex.. please do so now.
It is true that the people had already had judges. Then there were Kings, but Jesus represented Justice. He always will. It's His ultimate call. In the case of "Bypass", which has a stark earmark resemblance to "Passover", Jesus breaks no covenants but upholds all treaties, and yet sets a new vision for the Believer.
In 1Samuel 8:10-22, the Israelites covets a King. Samuel brings their demands to the Lord, and He grants them their wish. How then, after granting their desire would the Father go back on His word? The truth is, in Jesus, the Lord would give to the people what they had never seen or heard.
In Hosea 13:11, it reads, "I gave you a king in My anger, and took him away in My wrath."
But let's consider Justice. Justice is neither remedy for anger or wrath.
Justice is a good and perfect gift.
Therefore we know that the Father has designed for the refreshing of the Believer through the unmasking of Justice. Jesus is the way to the spring of eternal life as stated in John 7:37-38. What then does it mean to know the way?
Our Father, through Jesus, has unveiled a profound disposition. We will not be hemmed up in delay to justice, but rather, we shall remember the words "it is finished" and be replenished through faith. As Justice, Jesus fulfills every part of the story; being chosen directly by God, being a hereditary heir, and leaving himself to be accepted and established by each believer in their own heart.
In this way, God most certainly makes himself into a mirror of the father of the prodigal son. He continues to usher the Believer into His courts, and to declare that his house has many rooms. With His perfect gift, He reminds us of what Jesus said to His disciples in Matthew 6:8, "For your Father in heaven knows what you need".
Remember to go within that you may never go without. The God within you awaits you. Until our paths collide again, I wish you... Peace, Love, Life, and Wholeness.
Sincerely,
The Road2Wholeness Blog
